Little Black Dress Inspiration

Pink. Yellow. Red. Black. Oh, the colors. The luxurious fabrics. The swish of the skirts and the fullness of the gowns. Those were the things the seven year old me would dream of after reading about princesses and watching fairytale-themed movies. Dresses to me then were big and beautiful and colorful.
To the twenty year old me, wearing huge, full-length ball gowns as everyday wear isn’t particularly appropriate in the busy, crowded streets of Hong Kong. Oh no. To the twenty year old me, it’s not about having the fullest skirts or the brightest of colors anymore. It's now all about the elegance and the regality with a tiny dash of mystery. It's all about the Little Black Dress or, as we so graciously shortened to, LBD.
A little black dress, unlike the ball gowns, is versatile in where it can take you from casual to dressed-up and from day to night. I've styled and curated two different outfits (You lucky monkeys), taking you from day to night with a little black dress I found on Dailylook as the focal point of the outfits. The day look is what I would wear to go shopping or to a movie with my friends while the night time look brings me to celebratory parties.

I sign off now with the hopes of inspiring you to take your own little black dress and magically transform your outfit from casual chic to night time princess. Now, where is my white horse?

Omg, no, not really, I haven't been able to catch up with the show yet. I only watched the part where Taylor Swift performed and I kind of just concentrated on her because well, I love her. HAHAHA. I should watch it. I'm tempted now.

    1. AHAHAHA, oops, I''ve got to get that checked and make sure it doesn't happen again.

Ahaha, they're still good:) I like them even more now. She told me it would lighten up a bit more after a few more washes. I love how lively it looks while still being natural and not too much of a contrast. ahaha, she really is good, she managed to "enhance" my hair like how natural makeup enhances facial features. AHAHA, are you kidding, Shayne? Don't be ridiculous. You're the really gorgeous, flawless, even-better-than-a-celebrity woman:)
